Syncreon, a company that specialises in supply chain & logistics solutions is a global customer for Prologis – with 1.1m sq ft across four countries.
In the UK, during a regular Customer Care session with Syncreon it was established that they were keen to recruit more staff at their distribution centre based at Prologis Park Midpoint in the Midlands.
Step forward the Prologis Warehousing & Logistics Training Programme (PWLTP) – a course which gives people the skills & knowledge they need for a successful career in logistics.
PWLTP was established in 2021 as a way for Prologis to support its customers to secure the skilled workers they need through free industry training. The focus of the programme is to create valuable career opportunities for young, unemployed and disadvantaged people or those looking to reskill.
Following successful completion of the foundation PWLTP course, four people were successfully placed with Syncreon, joining a great business in a growing industry with valuable career development opportunities.

You can be safe in the knowledge that participants in the PWLTP have learned from some of the industry's best. The Supply Chain Academy's professional mentors and teachers all have first-hand experience of working within the logistics sector, in many different roles, from management to operations, and everything in between.
We've got close ties to important industry and business stakeholders too, including the Department for Work and Pensions and the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP).
