What is the Prologis Warehousing and Logistics Training Programme (PWLTP)?

We're here to help you gain the right skills and knowledge to take that first step into the exciting world of logistics. Where you choose to take your career after that is up to you. Whether starting out fresh or looking for a complete career change, our fully funded courses are open to all and have direct links to employers.

Along with the Goodwill Supply Chain Academy (SGCA), our courses use a variety of learning and delivery methods to give you the skills needed for a logistics career. We know the importance of 'learning by doing' and our Programme is hands on from day one.

Fully funded by Prologis, the PWLTP has strong links with customers based on our network of Prologis Parks and could help to fast-track you into a role within one of our customers' businesses.

The Programme is currently being run from The Hub - our centre for logistics training and education in The Midlands, but we have big plans to extend across our network of Prologis Parks.

What inspired the PWLTP?

The logistics sector offers a wide range of job opportunities at all levels. It's a sector that currently support 2.6 million jobs in the UK and that number is growing.

At Prologis, we wanted to help our customers find people with the right skills to work within their businesses. That's why, in 2019, we set up our Community Workforce Initiative (CWI) in the US. Globally, our CWI has an ambitious target of re-training 25,000 people by 2025.

In the UK, we recently set-up a dedicated training programme - the PWLTP - which aims to train over 11,000 people in The Midlands by 2026. Why not become part of our success story?
